Pitts Aerobatic Aircraft Exhibit
Shows many Pitts aircraft from building to flying
This is the worlds most successful aerobatic aircraft. First built by Curtis Pitts using a 65 hp engine which he though would be excessive power, the Pitts is now built using engines with horsepower ratings of 450 hp and more. You too can build a Pitts aircraft in your own garage.

Hap", F4U Corsair, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-40 Warhawk, Grumman Avenger, a
seaplane of which I am not sure of, and we rotate between two B-17's - The Memphis Belle 'marked' (the plane that was used in the movie) and The Fuddy Duddy.

Dear Jeff,
Thank you for including me as a contributor. The Glenn Curtis Museum is amazing, they continue to build replicas of Curtis's early aircraft and fly them. The lake that the museum is near, Lake Keuka, is where the worlds first water take-off and landings were made. They typically reenact them with replica's (using original Curtis engines) during the annual seaplane homecoming.  David Burke

Some great shots of pages from a real WW2 P-51 Maintenance manual.  This exhibit shows diagrams and component layouts of the P-51 in detail.  A very interesting set of pages.
