7th Air Force

18th Fighter Group
333rd Fighter Squadron
P-19 Airacobras,  P-47 Thunderbolt

78th Fighter Squadron
P-51D

318th Fighter Group

19th Fighter Squadron
P-38 Lightning
The were stationed on Saipan and were used for long range flights to Truk and Iwo Jima.  Some Pilots names were Wayne Petty, Hal Dunning, Stanley Lustic, Boone Ruff and Noble Kendle.

Marine Air Warning Squadron 5
4th Marine Division.
Received a Presidential Unit Citation for their outstanding service during the Capture of Saipan and Tinian on June 15th to August 1st, 1944
