Our
Social Environment is actually no different than our Physical Environment
If we want truth, justice and the pursuit of happiness
to be the American way, we must take action now.
There are times that we need to put our foot down and put an End to the
Destruction of our Kids. Veterans, Why did you fight in the Wars, Was it so the
Rich can destroy your and our kids?

It was interesting today. I was
watching a program on TBN talking about the effect of TV on kids.
It was only on for a few minutes and I started taking notes. In
just a couple more minutes my mom's friends came over to play cards and
brought their six year old granddaughter who I've never seen before.
She saw me taking notes so she asked me, a total stranger, for a piece
of paper. We changed the channel for something that she was
interested in and she started taking notes herself.
She started asking me questions about
everything so I showed her my 300 million year old piece of wood from
the Pennsylvanian Period. It was a pretty rare piece of wood
because it had decayed for a long time before it ended up in the bog
where it became petrified. We talked about dinosaurs and about how
long people were here on earth. I told her that I love to study
and learn. Later, just out of curiosity, I asked her what she
liked to do the most. She replied that she liked to study and
learn.
I showed her my dog hat and North Pole
that I have made for lectures then showed her some pictures on the
computer of Moscow and the North Pole. She said that she wanted to
use the mouse and I showed her how to select directories and select the
viewer function in Windows. Instantly she knew how to slew and
zoom the pictures. She said until she saw the pictures that she
didn't believe that I have ever been to the North Pole.
All of this is pretty interesting because
the girl that works for me for the last four years wasn't able to learn
this much in the whole time that she was here.
I then pulled out my globe and explained
where the pictures were taken and where the North Pole was. I next
asked her where the United States was and she pointed right to it.
Then she pointed right to Illinois and read the name. She
read to me the Indian Ocean and India also. Pretty smart for a
little girl. On a news program, several weeks ago, they did a
study at the colleges in the United States and found that ten percent of
the kids there couldn't find the United States. My nephew, who was
in college a few years ago, couldn't find Alaska on the map and argued
with me that it was somewhere near Texas.
I asked the little girl where her parents
were and she said that they were both in prison. It turns out that
they were in prison for Meth Production and wouldn't be out for five to
nine years.
The whole point is, look how smart this
little girl was. Look how fast that she was influenced to think
that learning was her favorite thing to do. Look how fast she
thought that taking notes on a TV program was important.
I showed her the movie script for Willow
Run and told her the process of making a movie. She had a little
difficulty about this concept and how a movie was written before the
actors did their jobs. I next showed her the book, Willow Run and
showed her the difference of writing a book and a movie script and
explained how a movie script evolved from a book. I could see that
she was shocked when she realized how the process really worked.
A news talk show several days ago talked
about the trash on TV and said that it doesn't effect the kids because
they don't really understand it anyway and they don't even pay attention
to it. Excuse me, the TV is full of BS when they make these
statements.
I'm shocked myself to see how smart kids
really are. With all of the years that I worked with kids on my
Y-I-BET program I've seen this over and over and I'm still shocked on
how their learning abilities were. The little girl even learned
how to say hi in Japanese and pounced it perfectly the very first time
and had it remembered and said, Ka-Ne-Chi-Wa, to her grandmother.
It's really sad to see that we have the
most powerful educational tool ever developed, the TV, and it's all sex
and violence. I get madder every day that I watch these garbage
programs. And the President, both Clinton and Bush, said that
these other countries should have our morals. A Scientific
American article that I have read about twenty years ago talked about a
test that they gave to middle school students in fifty countries.
The test that I read about was during the Viet Nam war and Viet Nam was
one of the countries that they tested. It turned out that the
students in the United States rated 48 out of 50, yet the United States
spends more money on education than any other country in the world.
Even the Viet Nam students, in the midst of a war, had a better middle
school education than the American kids had. C. Jeff Dyrek,

Oh, Jeff
Words cannot express how much I value your Emails and messages within them! You
are a gem and a very perceptive man.
I'm off to the big city for the day today, back later tonight. I'm meeting with
a member of the American Polar Society for lunch and will then go over to the
Explorer's Club to sift through their archives. CAN'T WAIT!
But before I run off, I wanted to tell you that now - after you had the
opportunity to spend time with a child as bright and interested as the little
girl you wrote about, you can better understand why I'm convinced that my
educational program is so very important. Sadly, many parents don't believe in
the intellectual curiosity of their own kids, and shrug them off. However,
children, even very young ones, CAN learn if you give them the chance TO learn
something interesting and of value. Kids are like walking
sponges willing and able to absorb whatever is thrown at them. But if
they're planted in front of the TV, that's what they're grow up wanting and
needing - not even knowing what else is out there in this world. You should see
the faces of some of the kids in the classrooms I visit! Their eyes and mouths
open wide and don't close until I'm done!
Yes, Jeffie, you MUST get well enough to travel around the area with your own
program about the North Pole - which can indeed be motivational - inspiring
youth to want more than to just get by in life. They need role models they can
connect with and look up to instead of watching those around them either drink
or drug themselves into a comatose state of mind.
I think you have just discovered your "calling" in life. Imagine the number of
lives you can set on a better path by doing with others what you did with that
little girl. Kids look up to people like you, especially if you refer to
yourself as an explorer. After all, one doesn't need to travel to the ends of
the Earth to explore. It is entirely possible to explorer inside a good
encyclopedia, inside a museum, inside a piece of petrified wood, or simply
around a globe as long as kids are shown how to do it. They love pictures they
won't see anywhere else - like the ones you showed this young child.
JEFF, YOU MUST DO MORE OF THAT!!!! Work on improving your health so that you can
do work on improving the lives of kids whose parents are MIAs.
I am so very proud of you.......... Wow.
Take care, my Jeffie! More power to ya!Moki

Thank you very, very much. Kids are super
sponges. My biology teacher in high school was one of my mentors. He
worked as a forest ranger in the summer and brought back many slide shows
about the Sequoia National Forest. That was always one of my dreams from
that time on, going to the Sequoia National Forest.
I remember the summer that I graduated from high
school when I was looking at a map of the United States. I was looking at
California and I can still remember the exact thought that went through my
mind. California was so far away, that in my entire life, I could never make
it that far. Three months later I was getting off of the plane in San Diego
at the Naval Recruit Training Center. After that I was lucky enough to
travel around the world: be on a ship in a typhoon: be in a ship fire that
lasted three days: visit everywhere that I never thought was possible,
ever.
Our dreams are only limited by what we look at
all day long. If we watch murder movies 24/7 we end up with an American Big
City Attitude, the gang world and trouble all of the rest of our lives. If
we watch travel and science programs, we end up doing exactly that, learning
and traveling. The astronauts that have gone to the moon did not spend
their lives in a dope house or bar, they built models, traveled and watched
programs like Flipper and Father Knows Best.
On CNN today the talk show host said exactly
that. He said what happened to programs like Father Knows Best? "There are
none," he said. It's all just a laugh or a murder or a Viagra ad. So look
at what happened to our Great Country today, what's great about it. We can
brag about having the greatest murder rate, the greatest divorce rate, the
greatest drug rate and the greatest teen pregnancy rate. Yes, we are a
great country after all, guess I spoke too soon.
Another news program read a note from some
terrorist group that said, "What would happen it the Terrorist Did Win."
They said that they would cut the heads off of all of the top stars who are
spreading filth and discontent throughout the world. I'm just in favor of
putting them all in prison and throwing away the key.
We must have people, like you, that talk about
exploration, because exploration has no boundaries and no hate, just
education and realization. Your program is a great thing for all mankind.
Thank you. C. Jeff Dyrek

WRITTEN BY A 15 yr.
old SCHOOL STUDENT IN ARIZONA : New Pledge of Allegiance? Since the
Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer are not allowed in public
schools anymore, because the word 'God' is mentioned... A kid in Arizona
wrote the following “New School prayer”
Now
I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If
Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our
hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For
praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We
can elect a pregnant Senior Queen
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.
We
can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's
scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen

Thank you very much for keeping me on your mailing list.
The
poem is so true. The kids are being mixed up intentionally and our freedom,
even our freedom to think, has been taken away because we might be thinking
about God.
Several days ago I heard a letter on the news that was written by the
terrorist. It said, "What if the Terrorist did win. What would they do."
They said that they would cut the heads off of all of the pop stars in
Hollywood because of the great harm that they are doing to the world. Yes,
they are doing harm, a lot of harm, and this kids poem shows the effects.
When did you see any of these, no God, Give the Girls Birth Control and
even Abortions without parents consent on any ballot. It will never be on a
ballot because this is not a democracy, instead it's a demoCrazy and we are
the crazy fools that think because we get to vote for the "Bought"
politicians that we are doing our civic duty. We have already lost our
country, it's just going to take a little time, and not long, before we feel
the full effects. We've lost and all of our veterans are dying for the
purpose so that oil companies can make record profits, and Pop stars can
make Sodom and Gomorra look like a kids playroom.
When did we get to vote on the Homosexual Parades allowing the filthy
people to do their filthy thing in front of thousands, yet if a man even
described what he just saw to a ten year old girl, who just saw the same
thing, he would be arrested and put into prison.
When did we get to vote on the language that they are using on TV, if a man
quoted a kids cartoon, he will go to prison. That's true. If you don't
believe me, just watch Fox Kids on Saturday Morning. It's Fox Porn for
kids, they just left the work porn out.
The commercials talk about how your erection should be lasting longer, if
you mentioned, just the word erection, to a little girl, just once, you
could be put into prison.
What about Sex in the City. I see ads for it on evening TV and it's on
the TV guide listing, If a man would just say the words, Sex in the City to
a little girl, he's gone, believe me.
Who are the terrorist. The TV is the biggest terrorist. The Radio is
the biggest terrorist. Meth dealers are the biggest terrorist. Yet we are
spending billions and billions to kill innocent Iraqi citizens and we call
it a war against terror. We are attacking other countries both with our
military and economic sanctions making their lives unbearable and making
them hate every American, yet we don't get to vote on any of this, and we
are the real terrorist.
I'm sorry that I sound so mad, but it's because I am mad. When I joined
the Navy I took an oath to fight all terrorist both foreign and domestic.
This is why I'm writing this reply and posting all of these terrible things
on my website.
Take care and thank you very much and God bless you.
C. Jeff Dyrek, Webmaster.
P.S. Please send this email, along with the poem to everyone on your email
list. We need to fix the problem. We need to stand up against terrorism in the
United States. We need to free our kids from this terrible atrocity that is
being inflicted on our country. Are we a great country? Not when these things
are allowed and are the norm. |
