This extra heavy duty aluminum extension ladder has a duty rating of 300 pounds
(type IA). The rungs are aluminum slip-resistant Traction-Tred D rungs. Rungs
are connected to the rails with Werners exclusive Alflo rung joint connection
for twist-proof performance. Extra heavy-duty I beam rails are held together
with thick guide brackets that fully engage the fly section. Rugged spring
loaded locks operate smoothly. Shoe rests flat or is held in spur position with
Shu-Lok feature. Easy separation, rope is held in place with the quick clip that
eliminates loose ends knots and tangles.

The new MT series from Werner combines the durability of a heavy duty type 1A,
300 pound duty rating with true versatility. A single ladder can be easily
converted to a double sided stepladder of variable heights or an adjustable
extension ladder. When set up as a stepladder the duty rating of 300 pounds is
per side to allow two people on the ladder at the same time. Height is adjusted
quickly with spring loaded "J" Locks. Steps are double riveted and the side
rails are smooth and curved for comfort. Included at no additional charge with
each ladder is a set of hinges to allow the ladder to be separated and set up as
two stepladders, a plank can be suspended between the two ladders to create
scaffolding. A storage case is also included for the hinge set.
