Moscow is absolute a fantastic
city to visit. Everywhere you go there
are fantastic buildings all the way from Moscow's Red Square to anyplace
in the city. There are beautiful statues everywhere showing the history
and struggle that the Russians had to endure in such a harsh land.
When visiting Moscow and the Red Square, you need to go
into the Kremlin
and the Kremlin Armory. Inside the Kremlin they have a Liberty bell, a
huge cannon,
and many very, very old cathedrals that are open to the public. Look at
these pictures
of Moscow, the Kremlin, Red Square and you will see what I am talking about.
This is what Global Expeditions, the Expedition Leader of
this expedition said,
"Getting there is half of the fun." And this is absolutely true.
This expedition
to the Geographic North Pole was the last expedition to go through Russia.
There were many, many problems that had to be overcome before we could
finally make it to the Top of the World, Standing on the Geographic North Pole.
