Features and Performance
iPod owners will warm up to the PowerPod in a manner of seconds. It's ready
to use right out of the box--just plug in the FireWire cable and start
charging. A small red LED light indicates when the unit is working, as does
the iPod's charging icon in the upper right corner. During testing, the
PowerPod refreshed about an hour's worth of playtime in a few minutes while
music was playing. Owners of other iPod auto accessories such as FM
transmitters--which draw their power from the iPod's battery--will find the
PowerPod particularly valuable, as it keeps their iPods juiced up over long
