To me, an old Cessna Avionics Tech, the 182 was the smallest Cessna that had a zip when you pushed in the throttle. My friend had a Cessna 182 with the Roberson STOL kit which gave it a noticeable takeoff performance, but I'm not experienced enough to notice a top speed performance.
