This is the end of the ice cave.  Again the ice cave is really a tunnel that was dug under the city of Khatanga.  You can see that the end of the tunnel is blocked off with ice.  From what local residents have told me, these tunnels are service tunnels that are built under the entire city.  They carry power, steam heat, telephone, water and sewage for the cities operation.  Khatanga has two operational power plants which generate electricity and steam heat that is piped to the homes.  On the left is Fernando Cabral, an organic farmer from Brazil and Jeff Dyrek, webmaster at YellowAirplane.com.

The block of mud contains many bones from the woolly mammoth.  There didn't seem to be any organized parts in this block of mud, rather it appeared to be only a piece of random parts.
