Please Note: There have been many significant events including sending a man to the North Pole and helping to organize a North Pole Expedition for 2001, for real, since the Jan. 1999 date listed below. Since 2001 I have been a guide and Expedition Leader for various North Pole Expeditions.

11-13 Jun 1994 Managed a Trade Show booth at the International Car wash Association at the Rosemont Convention Center in Rosemont Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. 

 
28 Sep 1993 Received my Private Pilots License

 
11 Sep 1993 Managed a booth at the Lake States Logging Congress National Logging Show at Green Bay Wisconsin. 

 
1 Jun 1993 Soloed a Cessna 150 at Smith Airport C-10, in Macomb, Illinois. 

 
May 1993 Became the Race Track Announcer at the I-74 Speedway in Knoxville Illinois. I announced for Stock Car races on Wednesday night and for the GoKart on Friday night. This meant that I announced regularly at three tracks and I did special feature events at various fair grounds 

 
Jul. 1992 I was on TV with a Peoria Television Station (Call number unknown) for the March of Dimes Race Team at the Spoon River Raceway in Canton, Illinois. 

 
Jul. 1992 I was in the Heritage Days Parade in Macomb Illinois with our March of Dimes Race Team IMCA Stock Car. 

 
Jul. 1992 I was the guest speaker on a half hour talk show at the WBYS radio station in Canton Illinois. I did this in 1993 also

 
May 1991 Became the Race Track Announcer at the Lamoine Ramblers Motorcycle Club in Macomb Illinois. I also announced at the Schyler County Fair for motorcycle races. 

 
Jun 1990 The first time I was on TV for being the founder of the March of Dimes Race Team. We were on TV 5 times this year with Mark Kesiling the News Caster at WSIL in Carbondale Illinois. 

 
Apr 1990 Became a Race Track Announcer at the Southern Illinois Raceway on Rt. 13, 5 miles east of Marion Illinois

 
Apr 1990 Started the March of Dimes Race Team at Marion Illinois 

 
7 June 1988 Became a member of the Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce

 
22 Jan 1988 Received a Suggestion Award Certificate from the Department of the Army titled "Energy Conservation" 

 
10 Sep 1987 Received a Letter of Appreciation from Jimmy L. Barney, Project officer of the COMDAC (Command Data and Control) project for the U.S. Coast Guard for designing the ELTD (English Language Translation Document) Boiler Plate used in this project. This boiler plate allowed programmers to have a structured layout for their programs and their ELTD's 

 
9 Jun 1986 Received a Business License for C.M.C. Custom Merchandise Company at 5661 GenRad Way, Citrus Heights, CA., 95610 

 
16 Mar 1986 Received a Certificate of Service from the Department of the Army in recognition of ten years of federal service. 

 
Nov. 1984 Started working for the Automated Test Division at the Sacramento Army Depot as an Automated Test Programmer. Job discription was to develop both the software and hardware required to test highly complex electronic weapons systems.

 
1 Oct. 1984 Received a Suggestion Award Certificate from the Department of the Army entitled Component Damage and received a 131.25 monetary award with this certificate

 
6 Jul. 1983 Received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Superior Court of Sacramento County for service as a trial juror. 

 
23 May 1983 Received a Suggestion Award Certificate from the Department of the Army entitled Component Breakage and received a 100.00 monetary award with this certificate

 
Feb. 1982 Started Working at the Sacramento Army Depot as an Aviation Electronics Technician. 

 
Jul. 1981 Started a business partnership as Streetable Motorcycle R & D. at 6809 Fleming Ave. Sacramento Ca. 95828 

 
9 Jan 1979 Received a Radio Telephone Third Class Operator Permit from the Federal Communications Commission. 

 
2 Jan 1979 Started working as an Avionics Technician at Patterson Aircraft Company in Sacramento Ca. 

 
17 Oct. 1978 Received an Honorable Discharge after 6 years in the U.S. Navy 

 
1977/1978 Made a West PAC Cruise aboard the U.S. Aircraft Carrier, USS Kitty Hawk.

 
Jun 1977 Fell 150 to 175 feet (according to the official Navy Accident Report) and landed on rocks. I was busted up pretty bad, I was put back on full duty, and now after 20 years I am still having a lot of problems from that fall. 

 
17 Oct. 1976 Received a Good Conduct Medal from the Department of the Navy. 

 
Aug. 1976 Climbed the highest mountain in the lower 48 states, Mt. Whitney. Official benchmark altitude 14,496.811 ft. (I would like to know how they measured the mountain with that accuracy back in the 1930's). Some other mountains which I have previously climbed were, Little Baldy 8,044', Alta Peak 11,204', Mt. Shasta 14,162' Sawtooth peak 12,343' (we climbed this mountain every year for four years) 

 
16 May 1976 Received a Certificate of Appointment to the rating of Aviation Electronics Technician Second Class. 

 
2 Jul. 1973 Received Letter of Commendation for attaining the highest scholastic average in my class. Naval Air Technical Training Command, Naval Air Station Memphis, Millington, Tennessee 38054 

 
18 Oct. 1972 Enlisted in the U.S. Navy

 
20 Jan 1970 Received my FCC Novice Amateur Radio License.
