Models to Teach Your Kids about Airplanes
Lorri, Steff and Tabby
What a mess and what a good time. Building these models not
only occupies kids time, it gives them something to talk about, a hobby.
When you get the neighborhood kids together building models they form a
sort of clan. They start associating with the kids in their model
groups, kids with similar experiences and interest. This builds confidence
and conversation within these kids groups. It creates a great way
for the kids to learn and when combined with the proper movies, air shows
and museum visits, it builds a future for the kids. Our futures are
learned, what we learn about is a powerful source to help steer our kids
dreams and ideals. Building models is one of the powerful learning
activities and we need to use them to their fullest advantage.
A national study stated that the average parent spends only five
minutes a day with their kids, here we spent three hours.
