IJN Aircraft Carrier "Kaga" 1/700 Kit

The IJN carrier Kaga figured prominently in action from the Shanghai Incident of 1932 through the attack on Pearl Harbor, but at the Battle of Midway in June, 1942, SBD Dauntless dive bombers from the USS Enterprise damaged her beyond repair, and she was sent to the bottom of the Pacific. Now, this 1/700 scale, plastic waterline kit brings the Kaga to life again! Made by Hasegawa, it features a finely molded hull with simulated portholes; a full-length flight deck with a conning tower; the Kaga's distinctive, downward-facing funnel; anti-aircraft guns and lifeboats; aircraft; and more. 13" long; assembly required.
