This ski expedition had two professional guides, Victor Boyarski and Victor Serov both famous skiers from Russia.  I don't know how many times these guys have skied the last degree to the North Pole but I remember seeing pictures of them on the North Pole in 1995. 

This is the first expedition that I have ever met Victor Serov and I could see in his eyes that he was a good man down to his heart.  That's more than I could say about many people.  Victor Boyarski is the same way too.  Both of these guys have done things that are beyond our wildest dreams and they don't have time to be anything other than good guys.  All I know is that they are both two of the worlds most famous skiers.
