Alaska Expedition 2006.

Skipping around a little, here are some grasses and flowers near Valdez Alaska. Heading south of Glennallen on Alaska Route 4 about half the way to Valdez is where I saw these plants in a grassy area. The flowers and grasses made a real nice pattern and I just had to stop and take a picture. This is located just north of the Worthington Glacier. The man at Cheep Car Rentals, in Anchorage, ordered me to take this drive and said that it was one of the most beautiful parts of the round trip from Anchorage, to Fairbanks and then back down toward Valdez. I didn't originally plan to drive to Valdez, but when the boss at Cheap Car Rentals orders you to go, you must listen to the boss. Normally I wouldn't have changed my plans to make this extra drive, but Cheep Car Rentals was like a museum in itself and I knew that boss knew what he was talking about, so I made the extra trip and I would do it again.
