By now my Dad was really getting into this project, which was very odd because he believed if God wanted us to fly, we would be born with feathers out our butt. He was my extra hands and the buddy I bounced my ideas off of. Even though he kept saying “You know you’re nuts don’t you”. I then made the cabane strut and fitted the top wing. Next was the lower wing mounts. This takes some time – you better have a very understanding wife, because her car will be out of the garage for a while. And if your real lucky like me, your wife will be helping you all the way, I think she was really getting into this also.
