A Close-up of the Birch Bark on the Trees in Alaska.

Take a look at this Birch Bark.  Is this really a birch tree or can it be an Aspin or another type of tree?  I'm very sorry but I just don't know my trees and plants.  For an experienced survival person, this is a super weak part for me.  Anyway, this picture of the birch bark was taken near Mirror Lake just north of Eagle River and Anchorage Alaska.  If you ever get to visit Alaska, you really need to do it now, it's absolutely fantastic.
