It's always to have a close-up picture.
Here is a picture of the Birch Bark on a tree near Mirror Lake in Alaska located
just north of Anchorage. If you ever get a chance to go to Anchorage
Alaska, be sure to travel to Eagle River and then Mirror Lake. The lake is
just off of the highway and has easy access with a great place to park your car.
Look at other parts of this exhibit to look at pictures of Mirror Lake, it is
absolutely beautiful with fantastic mountains in the background. It's
interesting, because before I took this trip to Alaska, I spent a couple of
months looking at pictures of the Anchorage area. I was also looking at
Google Earth pictures and even flew Microsoft Flight Simulator over the area.
Nothing compares to actually going there. No picture can give you the awe
feeling when you are standing on the edge of mirror lake and looking at the fall
colors of the trees in the mountains. It's fantastic. But here is
the interesting part. I was exploring the area when I was looking at the
pictures, I had no intention of going there. But, once I read about a
secret in life. What ever you look at all day long, happens in your life.
All of a sudden I looked at Travelocity to just explore the prices of airline
tickets to Alaska, and before I knew it, I pressed the button and there I was.
I always wanted to go to Alaska and in just the click of a button, I was there. |
