Looking to the South, you can see the town of Khatanga
which is located in the upper central part of Siberia in northern Russia.
This is not what the rest of the town looks but the streets here are the same, all Ice. On my right side, not in the picture, is the church, and directly behind me is the police station. In the distance, to the right, is the Khatanga River. My friends, Bill and Joy, went looking for the Post Office when they came onto an official looking building. They walked inside and it turns out they walked right into the Police Station. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Now they're in real big trouble. Bill told me that the police officers were real nice. The officers took Bill and Joy, for a joy ride, around town in the police car. Please excuse the pun! The officers described the different buildings and businesses in town, then took them to the Post Office.Let me ask you this! How many Police Stations in the world would have been this nice and would have done this. This is Khatanga. |
